After reading a chapter from "Why Men Love Bitches" by Sherry Arogov, it made me think about when the writer said "The conversation is part of companionship, but it is not everything. Women over-do talking about feelings. If it feels like you have run out of things to talk about, that is not a good thing. There has to be balance somewhere in between." This right here just made me think that if you do talk about feelings all of the time, then feelings do not feel as special. Talking about feelings should be something that the couple does once in a while because when you do something 24/7 then it looses its meaning and it starts to make the two people tired of the other and want to break up because there is no surprises left in the relationship.....What really aggravated me was when I kept reading.
Argov quoted a man who said: "When someone tries to get me to open up and I do not want to then I will close up". Damn it, I hate it when people do that and I hate it how that is some guys reaction to everything. I mean, come on! If someone is taking the time out to sit there and think about what to ask and wonder about what you feel, then take that into consideration! Don't just blow them off. I mean yeah it may be a little bit hard to let someone in your heart and I know that maybe you have been hurt in the past but do not ever let what went on in your past affect what is going on in your present. Just because someone had hurt you before in the worst way don't blame the next person for it because your heart beats deferent for every person. Everyone deserves a clean start. If I would have blamed my boyfriend for how guys broke my heart in the past then things would not be going well at all. I'm just saying, keep your head up high and always open your eyes to people. Never blame them, take a chance on love and strive for your happiness. It maybe a struggle but also no one said that it would be easy.
