Mom arrested after cheering for daughter at graduation ceremony by: Lala

I saw an article on Facebook that caught my eye this morning it was about a mother who was proud and happy that her daughter was finally graduating high school. All guest were told not to cheer or aplaud until the end of the ceremony but Lesha Coopers mother cold not wait. All lesha's mother said was Yay, my baby made it. Yes!" that was enough for her to get arrested. I feel she could've at least got a warning telling her they were serious about the no cheering rule and the next time she did it she'd be arrested. Police had put her in a police van and kept her there for 45 minutes. I'd be furious if I knew my mother was inside a van for the rest of my graduation. Now both her daughter and mother will always remember the graduation as her mom getting locked up. I really think they took it too far with taking her to jail for disorderly conduct. They made her pay $225 in order to get out. I wonder if there were primarily Caucasian people there and if that's why she got arrested. Is this a racial thing? What do you guys think?

  1. I think that's racist! What type of stuff is that? Getting arrested just for saying, "Yay." Wow, I have seen and heard enough. Smh
