I read a chapter in Why Men Love Bitches by Sherry Argov. My response is that they're only looking at it from a man's point of view. Woman aren't the only ones who are needy because so are men. A lot of men like to always be with a woman to, they like to be all attached to a woman just as much as a woman does. "I think a woman who talks less is more attractive because it makes her more mysterious. It is not a good thing to just ramble on. Communication should be quality not quantity. If a woman is uncomfortable or bothered, he should be able to feel it without her saying a word." Yes that's true, but at the same time a woman should be able to voice her opinion and her feelings because sometimes men don't pay any type of attention.
I honestly feel that it isn't only women that always have to be the "needy and emotional" one in the relationship. Many men LOVE to be needy and emotional, a woman who can express her feelings doesn't make her "needy" or "too emotional" it just shows that she makes sure her feelings are known. I found this chapter very sexist and it wasn't fair to women. In my honest opinion a man that can sit there and express his feelings with no hesitation is a REAL man. Why? Because a man isn't afraid to show his girl some love, and express his feelings to her. If a girl really means that much to a man then he'll let his feelings be known regardless of the matter. Men nowadays don't like expressing their feelings because they don't wanna be known as "soft" or "whipped". That isn't being soft or whipped it's just the way that it should be. Men, it's okay to be hard at times but eventually you guys should open up. Ladies, remember a man who can express his feelings is a REAL man. Don't settle for a little boy who's scared to open up to you about his feelings. That isn't cute at all!
i agree with what you are saying for the simple fact that your right women are not the only ones that are not needy and emotional i have seen some guys that cry water falls because they do not get the attention that they want and need truthfully men and women are way more alike then we might think but hey guys now a days will not admit that to them selves they like to feel like they are strong like they are the " big guy" but hey women are strong to we can do the same things that men can we are strong in our very own way and we stick it out yeah we may cry and yell out when we get frustrated but that is what makes us who we are as women. i think that if men and women got on the same level maybe things will be better. but i do agree with what you are saying about the book :) <3
