I read a section of this book called "Why Men Love B*tches" about what men supposedly really think about women and how we communicate. It also talked about the 15 signs that a woman is needy. Here, they had actual guys give their perspective of things they don't like that women do. I can't fully relate to this because I am a lesbian but some of the things that were said I wonder if my girl friend thinks. They talk about how girls talking too is not attractive and how it gets annoying and I instantly thought of me! I talk a whole bunch and usually it's a whole bunch of nothing sometimes. Now I wonder: Does she even listen to what I say.
Can a relationship really work without communication? If you are not communicating with your partner then how can you know what you did wrong (if you did something wrong)? How will you ever know if your partner is truly happy with the things you guys are doing? In my eyes communication IS key to a good and healthy relationship. Of course don't push your partner to talk about things he/she does not feel comfortable or does not want to talk about. But talk about things, be honest to each other and all will be well.
I totally agree with lala. I do too believe that communication is key because without communication there aint no relationship because it would be pointless.

ReplyDeleteCommunication is key. I feel that there has to be a talker and a listener in every relationship. A relationship will not be as successful if it has two talkers because both talkers will constantly be trying to talk on top of their partner. A relationship with two listeners won't be as successful either because there would be little to no talking. I do not think that talking makes women needy. If talking a lot equates to neediness, then men are needy too, because there are men out there who love to hear their own voices.
