As I read the "Secret Playbook" in "Why Men Love B*tches" the author, Sherry Argov says that "men have an aversion to talking about feelings". But me, personally, I think it's all a big front. Now, yes some to most men avert feelings, but not all of them. I think that it all depends on the guy that you're with. There are men out there that are sensitive and have no problem expressing the way they feel about you. But, people have their perspective and situations.
There's a part in the book where the author lists things about how women coming off as being needy in men's opinion. One of them caught my eye: "One woman tried to change me. She tried to get me to talk about my 'feelings' more. Hey, look. I can deal with my own problems." Now, by the look of that you will sit and think: "Are these men being sexist?" Women aren't really the only one who seem to be needy, and women can very well help men with their problems. Guys can be just as emotional. Some men will want you to help them out with being more comfortable expressing themselves to you. They might want to change for you, if they care and want that chance of being with you. Some will just be selfish in their own way maybe or either just want you to back off and let them be. That's just the way it is.
